As the legislative branch of the Town of Porter government, the City Council holds open public meetings where local laws, policies, and basic decisions for the city are discussed and decided. City Council members are elected at large.

Notice for all public meetings, along with agendas, are posted in advance of the meeting. Minutes are posted after meetings have concluded. (when available)

Town of Porter  &  Porter Public Works  Authority,  regular board meetings are held in the conference room at 617 S. Main St. Porter, OK, starting at 6 p.m.  Below are the dates for the  calender year 2024 Regular Meetings:

Town of Porter  & Porter Public Works Authority Special Meeting will be held in the Conference Room of Porter Municipal Offices Located at 617 S. Main St Porter Ok. 

* The February 8th Town of Porter and Porter Public Works Authority Regular Meeting will be moved to The Porter Civic Center in anticipation of a large number of attendees. Notice was provided to the Town Clerk on January 24, 2024.
